Organism abundance derived from sampling by the
10 m2 MOCNESS system

Important information:

  • The catch from each net was subsampled and all animals in the subsample were counted.
  • Due to the shear volume of data, only those animals found were represented in these on-line data. i.e., no animals with zero abundances were listed.
  • The precision variation in the latitude and longitude numbers is as reported.
  • Not all nets for all tows are represented here. Some nets came back empty.
