Accession number for a partial 18S rDNA sequence for a ciliate isolated from waters off the Oregon Coast. The ciliate was identified as Euplotes nobilii and is maintained at the Provasoli-Guillard National Center for Culture of Marine Phytoplankton as strain CCMP-3288. Additional sequences for dinoflagellate rhodopsin genes are expected to be added in 2012.
